"just to let you know that johns op went fine yesterday. he was 8 hours but went in to see him last night and he was as bright as a button sitting up and chatting. Think it all went well. Can you let everyone know for me. Will try and get on for a chat later. Much love. Linda"

Thanks for all your good wishes girls, off to have the staples taken out this morning and to see the consultant. Poor John looks a bit like Frankenstein, but we don't care ! Can't get a boat back to the IOM until Monday as they are all full with TT visitors but we'll get there in the end. Will try and update you later, much love xxx
