Scott's new wardrobes ***FINISHED pics added***

He's thrilled to bits with em and has put all his clothes in even though we haven't had the carpet fitted yet. LOL.

AND THE INSIDE. I bought him some of those plastic drawers to go in but we still need some for the end bit.






The space above the drawers is where his TV will go.










I would have liked a mirror door in the centre but was afraid he might break it acting about so I was going to have wooden trim like ours have but they have stopped doing it. I asked about the routed doors and they said it was £70 per door to have done so I just had the midlle one done.


THESE ARE OUR WARDROBES they reflect the light and make the bedroom look bigger. Well it is big but you know what I mean LOL.

I told him he has to keep it tidy that it's his room so he's responsable. I will give it a week and it will be like a shit hole. LOL. He won't throw any of his drawings away so you can never get in his drawers. I have to wait while he's at school to stuff some in the wheelie bin.

Cor Babs those wardrobes are great for Scot, you ave lovely big rooms and lovely views from your windows, lol little boys are messy in their rooms I remember it all to well. Those plastic drawers fit perfectly in that wardrobe space . He a lucky little fella to have you xxxxxx

I have done a bit more today and we had the carpet fitted last week.His mural was an absolute bugger to put up. It came in 8 pieces making it 12 foot long but I only needed 6 pieces. It dried out so quick so I had to keep adding more paste. It isn't like wallpapering where you can bend the paper cos if you bend this the photo on the front would be damaged. Glad I got it done though cos if you ruin 1 piece the whole thing is no good. There are 3 pieces across the top and 3 pieces across the bottom. There are a couple of air bubbles in it but what the hell it looks ok. Scott loves his Brooklyn Bridge wall.

WOW WOW WOW Babs, that is fabulous - no wonder Scott loves it, and such a grown up room now Bet he cant wait to move into his new room now - Ben 10 will be consigned to the bin now ..... well, unless you fancy him as a sleeping partner still, or the background to your nursery photos

Oh god Angel I'm am sooooooooooooooooooo NOT energetic LOL.
His desk is up and so are his curtains. Richard went to Argos yesterday to collect his computer chair and desk lamp. Today his new light fitting and bedside lamp arrived. I have to laugh at him cos he keeps going up to his desk to draw pics. Thats all thats in the bloody room yet
Lee's coming tomorrow to put his venetian blind up.

well hes getting used to it hopefully he will want to spend time in it doing things so you can get on lol xx

Here are some more pics.New bedding, curtains and blind up even though he creased the bed up before I took the pics. The beds up although he didn't get a new one LOL. I wanted to buy him a double but Cliff said kids need room so keep his single one for now. Scott didn't seem to mind anyway. Since the pics were taken his fishing rod is stood in the corner cos Lee has promised to take him fishing in the big holidays. Nothing like being prepared early. LOl He loves his touch lamp, he he and I have got him a 3 spot ceiling light but that hasn't gone up yet.

Now he will put his mark on it. I will give it a couple of days and it will be all messy.

WOW, love it Babs .... now give a few days to be "personalised" by the owner and then post some more pics .... you never know but the owner might decide he likes it neat and tidy after all Cant quite believe just how grown up Scott is now that he appreciates a lovely bedroom like that xxxxx

Glad you like it Sal. I wanted to buy Dorma bedding cos I think it's such good quality but when Richard took me to Dunhelm he said "mam he will only get pen on it" so I ended up getting this set which was 30 odd quid as oposed to Dorma being £150 for the set. I know he's right though if he gets pen on it, it won't really matter will it?
Took him to town today and he got some desk stuff, pen holders, pencil sharpeners etc. Now his dad is fixing his telly up for him.
The now spare bedroom is like a rubbish dump but I haven't got the inclination to start sorting out in there yet.

Ahhhh Babs, but once you start on the spare room, you'll have YOUR room to play in then hun No need to rush though is there, plenty of time to think about it then get it just how you want it xxxxxx

Wow wow wow Babs that is a fantastic room for Scott. You do so much for him , he is such a lucky lad. I love the Brooklyn Bridge wall, really makes the room. Cliff s probably right about the single bed, space will be more important for him the next few years.. It's hard to believe he's growing up so fast,where has all that time gone ?
