IM BACK IN BED ACHEING ALL OVER & GOT A BLOODY MIGRAINE BUT WELL WORTH IT HAD AN AWFUL JOURNEY HOME A CHEEKY KID HAD MY SEAT ON THE FIRST TRAIN THEN AFTER BABS GOT OFF I HAD TO GET OFF THE TRAIN AT YORK & MOVE TO THE FRONT OF THE TRAIN ON MY OWN GRRRRR CASE WAS SO HEAVY AS THEY WERE ONLY USING HALF OF IT FRIGGIN ATTENDANT SHOULD HAVE PUT ME ON THE RGT 1 IN THE FIRST PLACE THEN NOBODY TO MEET ME OFF NEXT TRAIN HE CAME EVENTUALLY THEN DUMPED ME ON A SEAT FOR AN HOUR CAME FOR ME WITH 2 MINS TO SPARE PUT ME ON WRONG COACH SO WAS STUCK WITH A SMELLY FORIENOR AARRGH NOBODY TO MEET ME AT DARLINGTON
SO THE HELPLINE ARE GOING TO BE IN SOME SHIT BY THE TIME IM FINISHED WITH THEM

I WILL BETH IT WAS AWFUL I USUALY ENJOY TRAVELING TOO I WOULDNT MIND BUT THE YOUNG MAN WHO SORTED IT WAS LOVELY WHEN HE ASKED IF I HAD SEAT BOOKED ON THE MANCHESTER TRAIN & I SAID NO HE SORTED ME 1 OUT SO I WOULD HAVE A SEAT WAS TOO TIRED TODAY BUT WILL DO IT TOM WAS LOVELY TO SEE YOU DARLIN IVE GOT A LOVELY BOOKMARK TO SEND YOU FROM OUR BABS SHE SEARCHED EVERYWHERE FOR THEM BUT COULDNT FIND THEM SO SHE THOUGHT SHE HAD LEFT THEM & THEY JUST TURNED UP THEY ARE LOVELY XXXXX

Soz you had a rough ride Maz. The train I got on after leaving you was packed but I managed to get one of those pull down seats next to the door. Other than that it wasn't a bad journey.

Did you have to do part of the journey by coach then Maz ? Its disgracefull this "assisted jouneys" malarky because no one EVER seems to know who is doing what, when and how - and who it is they are supposed to be helping anyway And people who need help don't WANT to be left till the last minute because if something WAS to go pear, they can't run and jump on the train like able bodied passengers can ...... grrrr, makes me so mad, I can't EVER remember you having a journey where train staff didn't let you down somewhere along the line huni ..... who the hell do you write to to complain these days ? they all have different providers and you can travel with several train companies on just one journey !!!!!
Anyway, I hope you are feeling rested now huni, and that the aches and pains from running around Shropshire are back under control again ..... t'was lovely to have you all to stay and I can't wait for the next time - but lets hope we can do something that Angel and Linda can join in too, like we talked about
I'm glad you got a seat Babs, I know what that route is like as its the one I use to go to Dan's - and its bloody murder till Doncaster ..... after which no one wants to go to Scunthorpe and Cleethorpes lol. But I've never managed to get a proper seat on it, not even when I've booked one cos it's often too crowded to fight your way through to claim it from the person already sitting in it ..... I usualy transcend the Pennines sitting on those bench seats
Anyway, you are both back safe, and Beth is back safe in Wales, so that's all that matters - and what a good job it was last week you came, can you imagine the journeys you would have had with the weather and floods if it had been this week !!! I doubt any of you would have made it and its hard to believe now that we sat outside in town and at Trina's eating lunch, and in the garden soaking up some rays ! No, t'was meant to be last week, and it was meant to be just as much fun as it was xxxxxx
