Hiya Sal n Maz, it went fine thanks but today all my jaw is aching like buggery. I have a piece of stringy skin on the gum where one was taken out and it's driving me mad I can't stop messing with it with my tongue. My mouth is really sore and I have only been able to eat my porridge and some tomatoe soup. I can't chew anything as I had my teeth taken out on both sides. Feeling really pissed off with myself.
It's probably bruising to the soft tissue in your lower jaw joints that is giving you the most of the pain Babs - and of course bruising and trauma where the extractions and clamps were too .... stick with it cos it should feel lots better really soon ..... mouth washes and painkillers should help in the short term though. As for the skin thread - that will probably die and drop off because its unlikley to have a decent blood supply to it - but if not call them and they will take it off for you .... things like that drive you mad and stop you getting on with recovering properly Get fully better soon my friend xxxxxx

Mouth still sore and the stringy bit has ended up being a stitch that is still driving me bonkers. What do you think....... They never even told me at the hospital that I had a stitch in each of the cavities. The other stitch is on the side of my gum where they must have had to cut it as there was hardly any tooth left but although its sore I'm not fiddling with it with my tongue. Supposed to take 7-10 days to devolve but doesn't feel as though they are going anywhere soon.
Well I hope by now things have settled down for you Babs ..... anything in your mouth just feels so weird cos your mouth is so sensitive .... plus it affects your taste and what you can eat. If medics ever gave you the full picture and what to expect - life post treatment would be so much easier Sending love n hugs to you my friend xxxxxx
