Body drama

Well like I always am I have left it until the last minute to order my doll bodies from Tracy. Now she's poorly and looks like I won't get em form her. I could order from Simply reborn but they take ages to post and I may not get them in time. Margaret on Praise has been trying to help me out but she only has the 18 inch same as me and it's too small. I will have to look around but buying bodies is a nightmare cos some are like bloody sausages when you get em and a complete waste of money. Think I may have to resort to secrist bodies if the shop near my sister has any.
My last resort will be to buy a couple first thing on show day and bulid them there.

What sizes do you need lovey - I'll see if I can help you out from my stash if I have the sizes ..... it does come in handy sometimes xxxxx

Hi Sal I have ordered from Simply Reborn and to double up I am ordering some from ebay seller stejan I have had them from her before so surely I will get something in time. The only one I can't get a body for now is my Esme Jacobsen who was to be a bundle baby but never mind I will have enough babies without her.

I have one of these every day - Body drama that is ! Hope you've managed to get sorted for all your bodies now in plenty of time for the show.

Well I phoned Simply Reborn twice today and it was an answering service I have left a message saying to send the one body they have (I bought 2) and the money they owe me for the 2nd body to use it to send it guaranteed next day. Thats if they listen to their bloody messages!!!!
And then to refund me whats left.

Thats bloody scandals luv hope you tell them when you see them service is awful these days from every1 still think tinks is the worst hope you get some joy luv xxxxx

Well the body from SR came today so I have Jamie Auer's sorted when I get round to building him. I haven't had the refund for the other one yet.

The 2 I ordered from stejan arrived today and allthough they are nice quality they are as fat as a bloody pig so I have unpicked the neck channel and I am going to take a good 1/2 inch off the width of the body and then sew the channel back up. That should do for Marie Auer when I have finished rooting her.

Margaret (granny rabbit) has helped me out as I wanted a new body for Maisie that I did for the last show. I took her head off to root her and I can't believe the bloody body I put on her it was 7inches across the front so 14inches all round the middle and she is only about 17inces long. It looked awful thank god I didn't sell her last time. Anyway Margaret sent me 3 front facing leg bodies to see if any were suitable and one looks brilliant but I still have to put her together. Was going to do it tonight but I have been rooting Marie. Still got half the back and crown to do and maybe a bit of filling in.
Margaret was so helpful and said not to send any money we would sort it out at the show.
SO I AM GETTING THERE LOL. I will still be on the last push.
