I got an email today from Jayne at tinks. My paints have finally been dispatched. I only ordered them on the 13th August and after 2 phone calls and all those weeks of waiting I can now think about carrying on with my AA baby.

Customer service is crap at least they could let you know whats going on.

Thats dreadful Babs, but comes as no surprise, I never order from Tinks unless I absolutely have to as Ive waited so long in the past for things to arrive. Cant wait to see your AA baby finished .

Bloody hell Babs if thats what they do to peoplethey know god help the new ones well do you remember the pooky hand that was damaged i waited for months for & it was a custom order & i had to buy other hads but no apoligy either xxxx

Well I have been dabbling all afternoon and I buggered the lips up AND the skintone looks mucky Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Now the bloody paint won't adhere to the lips so I have put some thinning medium on them to see if that will work. I'm just about ready to put it away and concentrate on all the others. I was so looking forward to doing it too.

Put away for now Babs - you know it will drive you crackers if you keep going at it and get nowhere - fresh eyes in a few days will likely show you how to put the skin tones right - and maybe the bloody thing will stop licking the paint off it's lips by them as well xxxxxx

I am putting her away, if I get time to finish her for the show I will but I'm not bothered if I don't. It was only an experiment anyway, I have other fish to fry LOL
