Here we go it's started

A bloke from the council was showing a young woman round the house next door last week, she looked ok but must have turned it down. God knows why because these are some of the best council houses in Cudworth. We are just an avenue in the shape of a horse shoe so only a small estate and nearly all of them are now private.
Well yesterday the council bloke was back WITH A BLACK WOMAN!!!!!!! Oh if she has it which I bet she does my house will have devalued by thousands.

It's official we have blacks next door.

We have to be careful what we say to Scott Maz cos he came out with I hate blacks. Not sure where that cam from as we haven't said that.
I am hoping they are nice QUIET people not sure if they have any kids as I have only seen the woman and a man. I would say she's in her early 30's and he looks a bit younger maybe mid 20's but I'm rubish at guessing ages. They were here all day yesterday until 11pm last night so I think they must be doing a lot of cleaning and decorating.

[ Babs it's scary when you never know what little ones are going to come out with haha. Bless him, he's prob heard it all at school.

Just cos they black , it might not mean they are like lots of the bad ones. We had em next to us once and they were sooo lovely. So hopefully yours will be ok, Pmsl just chuck em a bunch of bananas every morning

Well Babs, if they have been cleaning and what have you they are likely houseproud, which is all to the good. I dont think it makes any difference to your house value any more either huni, too many foreigners and colours in GB now for it to have any real impact any more - not like it used to be anyway. Sure to have kids though to get a council house, but hopefully they will be nice little ones and wont appear till the house is turned into a proper home for them - which can only mean that they are decent folk xxxxx

At one time Sal you couldn't sell your house if you had these sort of neighbours. LOL
I saw her in the front garden yesterday. They were having the whole house carpeted. She had a little boy with her I would think about 5 or 6 years. Only a guess as I could only see the top of his head so Scott might get a new playmate. I passed the time of day with her on my way into the house. She seems ok so far. They haven't been today.

Oh Babs, that sounds promising - I really hope they are nice love - I know how much your home means to you and Cliff, especially now you can't get away like you used to when your legs were better, so it's understandable that you would want half decent folk living alongside you - fingers crossed that passing the time will eventually turn into some good neighbourliness - and you never know, some bloody good alternative home cooked foods for you to try ..... oh, as well as someone Scott can play with easily, especially when he's bored xxxxxx
