I had her on watch too and was totaly GOBSMACKED at what she went for in the end. To be fare she was beautifull and I dont think I've seen that kit done any better, but she sure wasn't worth paying out that sort of money for !!!!! Yes, I get your drift Babs, but a sili is a bit more special isn't it ? well, at the moment it still is because there's still not that many of them about, especialy good ones. I think Cheryl only went that high for that sili because of it being based on her grandbaby though, I got the impression that that was what that was really about - you'd think that if you provided the "model" for the sculpter, your payment might have been a cost price silicone baby - wouldn't you ? Probably Babs, I'm just so gob smacked at how much Cheryl paid, it could have been sculpted by the angel Gabriel and I would still be just sitting with my mouth hanging open lol.
Is it me though, or would you you think that if you'd asked someone for photos of their grandchild, and permission to use those photos as the model for your work, you would at least OFFER a silicone doll to the family at cost, or a very big discount anyway ?
