Have just sold Claire by Romie for the bargain price of £105. The amount is fine, just want rid, but she's going to America - arggg!!! Just hope to goodness everything goes smoothly. The buyer did request postage costs before bidding, but she must be mad, as the only way I can send it from here is by Royal Mail and its £74 !! I've told her this and she's gone ahead and won the auction, so only hope she likes the bloody thing as I can't be doing with any problems at the moment . She does have 100% feedback though, so hopefully it will all be straightforward. Can you think of anything I need to do, was going to include little samples of fillings etc for Customs, can you think of anything else, you hear such horror stories about things going wrong, am pooping my pants here !!

I've posted to America a couple of times Linda, and its been fine. Had to fill out the customs form but didn't need filling samples - mind things could have changed so it's good you have some to provide if necessary. If she your buyer alreaady knew the cost of shipping and still went ahead and bid it will likely go like clockwork - and at the end of the day she's getting a bloody bargain too (I was going to bid on her if she hadn't sold by the last few minutes Wink ) - she's a beautifull little girl and a credit to you Linda cheers cheers Now stop worrying, get her packed up, and then off your hands and on her way to her new mummy as soon as she's paid for - then it will be time for you to put your best foot forward and decide what next - congratulations on your sale lovey bounce bounce bounce I love you I love you xxxxxxx

thanks Sal, you've put my mind at ease a bit, I'm turning into a right Mrs Worrywort these days ! She hasn't paid yet, despite requesting the full total so will just wait and see if she comes up with the money. Very Happy
edited to add - she's just paid in full ! Very Happy

Well done on your sale Linda even if you did give her away. The post office should fill the customs forms in with you so that makes it easier. I think Jo puts small labelled packets of samples in a sandwich bag and tapes it onto the outside of the box securely. You could have it ready and ask at the post office when you get ther and take your cellotape and tape it on there. I had some samples ready made up for my last doll Andi but he didn't sell anyway on the bay so I didn't have to bother. LOL

Well my baby which cost £74 to post arrived on Thursday a day later than it should have. Haven't heard a dickybird from the buyer, so I'm working on the theory that no news is good news! Looking back on her eBay profile, she always seems to leave feedback in batches, several weeks later, but I just wish I knew she was happy with the baby, but I'm sure she'd have been on to me by now otherwise. I know I could email her, but too much of a coward prefer to let sleeping dogs lie ! Very Happy

I'm sure things will be ok Linda, like you say if there was a problem you would have heard from her. Your listing was specific about the faults so she knew what she was buying.

Well done on resisting Babs bounce bounce although if hes still for sale there is time for you to cave in yet What a Face Wink lol. I saw you'd pm'd her about Juliette - was a delightfull kit to work but that sucky lip wasn't easy to catch - very fine and it all too easy to get outside the lip line and make her look plain miserable Neutral
Check the prices of Juliette with the suppliers though Babs, she's been as low as £25 so worth taking a look through if you fancy the kit I love you xxxxxx
